Synopsis[]
The episode opens at Emma and Victor’s date. Emma asks Victor if she can ask a question and when he says she can, she asks how he knew who she was when she wasn‘t taking the same course as him. He replies that he had always noticed Emma and then specifies, saying her smell at least he’s always noticed. Emma quickly grows self-consious, checking her smell when Victor reassures her and then goes to ask if she has a puppy.
Jasmine is still moping about how Ryan turned down her date and how she has nothing to do over the weekend now. As she’s considering whether or not to ask Emma if she knows anyone else, she states how Ryan was totally her type.
Emma and Victor are now at a coffee shop and are ordering themselves coffee. Victor orders am Americano and Emma, whomis to indecisive to choose something, goes with the same thing. She then thinks back to when she and Ryan went out for coffee and when she tried to order the same thing as him, he got her a green tea latte. Emma sits with Victor, sipping her coffee and wishing she had gotten a green tea latte instead.
Hailey finds her crystal ball and she and Ryan continue to (attempt to) eavesdrop on Emma’s date.
As Emma is on her way home, she gets a text from Jasmine asking how the date went. Emma replies saying it was fine and when Jasmine points out how nice Victor is, Emma brings up how he mentioned she smelled like a dog.
Hailey’a crystal ball goes through right as Emma arrives home and calls out to Ryan through the window. He asks how the date went and she responds that it was a disaster. She then tells Ryan to thank Hailey for her, and Ryan is slightly relieved her date didn’t go well. Hailey pops up wondering why he was sighing.
Jasmine is sitting in her room still, wondering how Victor could have told Emma she smelled like a dog, when he receives this text from him:
’Thank you Jazz, I met a nice girl today thanks to you ^^ I’ll buy you dinner if it goes well ^^’
Jasmine is left wondering how Victor could think the date went well when Emma seemed upset about his comment.
Jamie Moon, Jasmine’s younger brother is watching a lecture in his room when Jasmine walks in his room. Jamie looks alarmed and then Jasmine questions why he was so jumpy and if he was watching porn. Jamie denies this, saying it was only an online lecture. Jasmine questions Why he was watching a Korean history lecture when he’s studying science, and Jamie responds with the fact that it was free. Jasmine asks if he want some ramen and when Jamie says he does, Jasmine tells him to go buy some. Later, while the siblings are eating, Jasmine asks Jamie what Victor could have meant when saying Emma smelled like a dog. Jamie gives a sarcastic response on how he could be saying she’s like a dog, but Jasmine points out how he liked Emma. The two both agree that there isn’t any chance at a relationship between them as they finish their ramen.
Emm gets a text from Victor asking if she wants to see a movie. She is confused, since she as well thought their relationship was over.
Ryan finally was able to get his dad to help with his leg and as he’s finishing up, Hailey mentions how a Emma went on a date. Mr. Nam questions whether it’s okay for Emma to date with Ryan being her ‘owner,’ to which Ryan replies, ‘Why wouldn’t it be okay?’
