   Charizard(JP) is a species of Pokémon in the series of the same name. It is a dual-type Fire/Flying Pokémon that made its first appearance in the first generation games Red and Blue. It is the final evolution of Charmander. Charizard can Mega Evolve into either Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y with Charizardite X and Charizardite Y respectively. The former changes its Flying type for Dragon while the Y form remains the same typing. It has a Gigantamax form. Charizard appears in all Super Smash Bros. games. It was a Poké Ball Pokémon in the first two games and playable since Super Smash Bros. Brawl (along with the Pokémon Trainer in Brawl and Ulitmate, and a solo character in 3DS/Wii U).

The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! was originally planned to be an anthology show titled The Super Mario Bros. Power Hour and featuring segments based on various NES games (in the vein of Saturday Supercade).
- 1992: Metroid II: Return of Samus is released for the Game Boy in Europe. The game was the first game in the series to appear on a handheld.
- 2003: WarioWare is released for the Game Boy Advance in America. It introduced to the world fast paced microgames that starred none other than Wario, which gave him a distinct identity beyond just being the evil counterpart of Mario.
- 2007: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest is released on the Virtual Console in the USA.
- 2021: Miitopia was released worldwide on the Nintendo Switch.
