Super Mario Party Jamboree is a Mario Party game for the Nintendo Switch. It is the third entry of the franchise on the platform after Mario Party Superstars. It was released on October 17, 2024.
Gameplay[]
The game retains the classic gameplay of the Hudson Soft entries, since the previous Super Mario Party game.
Super Mario Party Jamboree reintroduces the use of one Joy-Con controller in gameplay, with other players needing additional controllers for multiplayer.
Allies (called "Jamboree Buddies" in this iteration) also appear; they appear on a random spot on a board and once a player reaches them, a Showdown minigame can be played to see if the buddy will join the player. Each Jamboree Buddy has a different ability to help the player, but they will switch to any other player character that passes them by. Another new feature is "Pro Rules", which change certain in-game rules.
Modes[]
The game features the standard board game mode of the previous Mario Party games. Players roll a dice and roam around the board. They can buy and store up to three items and use them to their advantage. The goal is to have the most stars with mechanics changing between boards.
The new online mode is the Koopathalon mode which has 20 players compete in various minigames to progress along the board. The goal is complete a certain amount of laps around the board with success in minigames moving the player along.

Described to be "the biggest Mario Party to date", the presentation announced over 110 minigames, seven boards (including Mario's Rainbow Castle and Western Land, which previously appeared in Mario Party and Mario Party 2, respectively), and an online 20-player "Koopathlon" mode. Another online mode for eight players called "Bowser Kaboom Squad" has also been announced.

Super Mario Party Jamboree received "generally favorable" reviews from critics, according to the review aggregation website Metacritic at 82/100. Logan Plant of IGN lauded the game as "an amazing followup to Mario Party Superstars and easily one of the best games in the series". Ozzie Mejia of Shacknews agreed that the game is "one of the most polished entries in the series yet".

Trivia[]
- On the cover, Mario is holding a dice showing a "2" as the only visible number. This may be a reference to the fact that this is the second Mario Party game to use the Super branding.
- It is the first time the series has "retro" boards, as opposed to Superstars; Jamboree has new boards and content alongside.
- Ninji and Pauline's make their playable debut.
- Much like Super Mario Party, NPCs who are considered Bowser's minions speak to Bowser and Bowser Jr. more fondly than to other characters, usually referring to them as "Lord", while Bowser Jr. also calls Bowser "dad" during the conversations.
- First Mario Party to release under the Nintendo Cube name. The company is formerly known as NDCube until 2024.
- First Mario game to feature Kevin Afghani as Waluigi's voice actor.
- Has the highest amount of new minigames, with more than 110.
- In Roll 'em Raceway, characters drive in their cars as they move along the board, calling back to Mario Party Advance.
