Kikyou Ninohana (二の花 桔梗 Ninohana Kikyou) is a supporting character of the web manga series. He is one of the guard dogs of Building 4 in Nanba Prison.
Appearance[]
Ninohana is a Sheltie with white, light brown, and dark brown fur and gray eyes.
Personality[]
Ninohana is a mature and dignified guard dog. He is observant and takes his job at Building 4 very seriously, yet usually prefers to keep his distance from the action to better plan his next moves. Ninohana is also shown to be insightful, as he realized that Musashi was still fearful of the power he possessed before the others were able to.
Like the rest of the guard dogs, he is extremely loyal to Genrou, Kenshirou, and Building 4. While he is mentioned to be the most responsible and put-together of the group, he relaxes completely when Kenshirou brushes him to the point that he laughs and rolls around.

Trivia[]
- The name Ninohana means "two" (二) (ni), "plain, field" (の) (no), and "flower, blossom, bloom, petal" (花) (hana). Altogether, the name means the "second flower."
- The name Kikyou means "Chinese bellflower" (桔梗) (kikyou).
- Each of the four guard dogs under Genrou represent a season, Kikyou's being summer, because that is when Chinese bellflowers bloom.
- Kikyou is ticklish on his stomach, and is said to be the most spoiled when it comes to brushings.
