Ido Yomidou (夜三道 異土 Yomidō Ido) is an antagonist of the Nanbaka Web Manga series. He and his sibling Mei Yomidou are known together as the infamous ‘Assassins: the Brothers of Death’, whom are known to do anything for money.[1]
Appearance[]
Ido is a muscle-bound man of above-average height. Like his brother Mei, he possesses dull skin and burgundy-red hair with long bangs; his hair is worn considerably shorter and neater than Mei's. His eyes and nails are also burgundy.
He wears a traditional maid's outfit consisting of a long, black dress with a white collar and buttons, alongside a white apron. He wears a white ruffled headpiece and a pair of tall, knee-high, black boots with white laces and small heels.
Personality[]
Compared to his brother, Ido is very quiet and reserved, not seeming to show much emotion. However, he can be just brutal as his brother when necessary. He is also shown to be polite and thoughtful despite being indifferent at most times.
He is serious about his job, following orders given to him by his superiors and prioritizes Mei and Elf first before himself. He has a bit of an issue with cleaning everything, but he still does this job because he believes it is his duty to.
Background[]
At some point in time, he and his brother Mei were paid a lot of money by the Man with the Scar to work as bodyguards for him.[1]

- The name Ido, along with the name Mei, is a play on "meido," the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "maid."
- Their surname Yomidou references the Japanese underworld in mythology. It is a references how both he and his brother are called the underworld brothers by others in fear.
- He eats 10 times more than Mei.
- He eats 5 kilos of rice daily.
- His favourite food is ramen.
- The doll of his initial design by the author smells like soap.
