Biography[]
Kingpin's Offer[]
Zyl was a criminal in New York City who had relations to Wilson Fisk. One day, he was arrested by the FBI and brought to a room with Rosalie Carbone, Sophia Carter, John Hammer, and Everett Starr. Fisk told them that he would keep them safe from the FBI if they gave him 20% of their companies. Starr immediately berated Fisk until he was killed by Daredevil. The other were then forced to comply, this time for 25%.[1]
Kingpin's Wedding[]
Zyl was called last minute by Kingpin and was forced to go to his wedding to Vanessa Marianna. Zyl was very annoyed and complained to the others about Fisk. Soon, Fisk was arrested and taken into custody, freeing Zyl.[2]
Personality[]
Zyl was an embittered criminal, who had a strong dislike for Wilson Fisk, possibly out of spite of his high status. His spite could be of Fisk becoming a higher figure in the criminal underworld, but simply due to Fisk's domineering personality. Despite his dislike, he would listen to Kingpin's offer when granted. Zyl was on good terms with the Carbone Crime Family, and kept it so in New York. He also didn't like to be bothered or called upon at the last minute, as he questioned by Fisk would summon him and other criminals to his residence, the Presidential Hotel.

- Expert Tactician: Zyl is an important criminal figure who made decisions on the better half of himself. He was deemed important by Wilson Fisk, who had him arrested. Additionally, Zyl had a dislike for Fisk, not trusting him.
