This page covers Earth-65 as depicted in the comics. For Earth-65 as depicted in the "Spider-Verse" films, see here.
Maybe in your world, everybody's a Silver Surfer, and your president is Moon-Boy. But my world is what you'd probably call "low-super". Here, we don't have regular alien invasions, giant monsters in speedos, or space gods in big helmets strolling down Main Street. But we've got me.
History
Gwen Stacy was bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker, and she became Spider-Woman, while Peter Parker turned himself into the Lizard in an attempt to be special like her. He died and she was incriminated for his death, becoming a fugitive from the law.[1]

Notes
- Prior to being given an official reality number, this universe was referred as Earth-TRN448 as a part of our Temporary Reality Numbers classification system.
- This reality was first mentioned in Excalibur #44 as the home reality of Gilles Weill, the Captain Britain Corps member known as Brother Brit-Man.
- Before Spider-Gwen's reality was identified as Earth-65 in Amazing Spider-Man (Vol. 3) #9, the Marvel Appendix listed her universe as Earth-14211.[2]
- The reason Spider-Gwen is set on the already-existing Earth-65 is that "65" is a reference to 1965, the year of the first appearance of Gwen Stacy in Amazing Spider-Man #31.[3]
