Textbook example of a legassy sequel. The film looks great, like it’s shot well. The best part of this movie I’d say is Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega. There are a bunch of other actors just shoehorned in here, like Willem Defoe, and Monica Belucci who I swear had less screen time than Beetlejuice did in the first film. Long story short is that this just isn’t as fun as the first one. The moments the films trying to be funny it just does the wrong thing. Or it has a joke that completely kills a sweet moment like that stupid sequel set up at the end.
