Holy f*ck balls!
I am still reeling from that cinematic masterpiece...
It was exactly what I expected from Christopher Nolan; it was INTENSE, both in sound and storyline.
The performance was beyond superb, most notably from Cillian Murphy as the man behind the monster (not Frankenstein, by the a way, but in a way the explosion of the atomic bomb was like a birth of a monster ready to be unleashed into the world), as well as from the supporting cast; Damon, Blunt, Pugh and Downey Jr.
Oppenheimer was a man grappling with his conscious, as he saw what no one else saw; the death and destruction of what the Bomb will bring - even at the end of the film, he dreads of the future.
I can tell already that this film is going to top next year's Oscars!
No doubt about it; best film of the year!
Next to Barbie!
Also, brownie points for Florence Pugh's nude scenes. Noice!
