Not the scariest horror movie ever, but it’s one of the best horror movies of 2024. I love the tension and scary atmosphere that is present throughout almost all the scenes in this movie, and both Nicolas Cage and Maika Monroe are great standouts in this movie. I also really like how the gore used sparingly, giving a balance between the scary tense scenes and the gore scenes. I also want to mention that were some things that seemed predictable, but the way it was executed made those cliches a lot better for me. Oz Perkins is officially on my radar for good modern horror film directors
