Maybe I’m infected with the marvel mind virus bc of Marvel Rivals but I did enjoy this return. I was a huge super hero guy 6-10 years ago, and I’ve honestly lost all interest until extremely recently. I guess the marketing, video game team has me in their clutches. I will probably watch a couple of the recents marvel movies I haven’t seen soon, but I’m incredibly fatigued at the few quality pictures I’ve seen this year. I need to make a full life change in 2025

This was really wild. Other films crossed my mind with somewhat similar premises, but none of them can really compete with how surreal and sexual this is. Closes comparisons are probably to Inception, with questions of reality dream worlds within dreams similar to games within games. I thought the ending was great, and adds another layer completely. The consoles being pulsating lumps of flesh will stick with me for sure. Cronenberg continues to climb for me, he’s pretty solidified as one of my favorites. About time for me to watch Videodrome.
One of the most enjoyable film experiences of my life. Just wonderful musings on what is, isn’t, or perhaps could be, considered art. Down right silly at times, yet still able to deliver moments of profound impact. Like Welles monologue with the cathedral of Chartres which moved me near to tears.
