Love and Anarchy: film #19

Really interesting film, from Jacques Audiard.
Wild genre mix. Crime, thriller, drama, romance and wildest of all musical.
Lawyer getting unexpected job, from feared mexican drug cartel boss. He wants to retire and become woman he always wanted to be. Just wild journey. I actually quite liked musical aspect of this film. Musical numbers were very powerful.
Great performances, from Zoe Saldana and Carla Sofia Gascón. Selena Gomez was really good too.
Really entertaining and fascinating film. Some emotional moments too.
