Man, I was SOOOOO close to really liking this, but for now, Wicked's a swell time.
Chu and Brooks' reliance of backlighting/overexposure/flares, mainly for the daytime sequences are frustrating, considering the colourful nature of Oz. Hell, even SAM RAIMI understood the assignment with Oz The Great and Powerful (also has better 3D)!
Regardless, this is Ervio, Grande and Bailey's show. They nailed their roles and musical numbers, and I'm excited for Part Two!
