I just had to watch this again and it’s all because of the score, cinematography, acting, plot and mesmerising visuals. So many beautiful and gorgeous shots are in this movie with a tremendous and remarkable score to go with them.
Matthew McConaughey was absolutely outstanding in the lead role and just brought emotion to his acting which led to me literally tearing up from some scenes. The twist at the end and all things from the beginning coming into place will always be astonishing to me. Not finished Nolan’s filmography yet but I really can’t see this being topped or many other films topping this.
There’s only one minor downside to this for me and that’s Anne Hathaway as Dr. Brand. I thought I’d prefer her a lot more this time round but she just isn’t the most interesting of characters but she does deliver a good performance either way.
