I still remember coming across Chris Stuckman’s YouTube review 10 years ago just as a wee lad of 13 and convincing my mom to take me to see this film, she did and so sparked my interest in movies… well atleast a further interest/ and appreciation sparked, as I always loved movies as a kid.
I still have that ticket stub to this day it was for 1:40 pm 11/29/2014.
I got the Blu ray and 4K and have watched this film many times since my first viewing unfortunately I don’t have specific dates or I’d log them, anyways…
This is the first time since the original release that I think this has ever been re released into theaters and I knew I had to see it in IMAX woo boy did it not disappoint!
Interstellar in IMAX is absolutely transcendent!
The themes of the film are poignant, timeless and relevant, and the space exploration is second to none! The visuals 10 years later are still phenomenal and that Hans Zimmer score is one of the best pieces of musical composition for a movie ever!
Truly is this generations 2001.
