It's been a while since I enjoyed a Tim Burton movie as much as I did with this. It felt like he was back in his groove and knew the vibe and tone needed to bring Beetlejuice back to life. It's dark comedic fun with awesome practical effects and goofy and gross designs, going all out on how weird it can be. The cast was all great, especially Winona Rider and Michael Keaton, and I love that this isn't hell-bent on repeating itself (outside of that glorious musical number) and spends time building on what came before, although I do wish more was done with Monica Bellucci's characters which were left behind after an epic intro.
