Whoa!! I went in blind, and wow am I glad I did. I thought I was about to watch a horror film where we ride shotgun from the get go with Kyle Gallner as a serial killer. The opening, I’d say 20 minutes had me flip flopping constantly on who my allegiance would be with. It legit kept fooling me. When Pam pops out of that Deep Freezer startling Jerry, and Leatherface emerges from the darkness with that sledgehammer screaming at Jerry who screams back but in absolute TERROR, Leatherface just blasting him over the head with that Sledgehammer while howling, that’s pretty much horror perfection for me.
