    I walked into this completely blind. No trailer, didn’t watch the original, just went off of the cover of Mcavoy grinning at me like a wild man. 

    In the end this is a very good thriller which makes you think there maybe something more to Paddy and Ciara’s behavior but in the end they’re just crazy people. I was honestly expecting some supernatural twist but the more I thought about Mcavoy just being a crazy man was more than enough. 

    His performance in it is worth watching it.  When he really lets loose in these crazy physical roles, you can tell he’s really enjoying himself.

    Sad to say but we will never see Cruise in a role like this again.
