]]>4DX was okay. 3D and visually still great. Script may be even more laughable on second viewing. Why didn’t he just let him drown in this movie?

]]>WOW. Utterly heartbreaking
]]>If you’ve ever wanted to see a Lion King prequel that shows how Pride Rock was formed, do I have the movie for you. In all seriousness, a bad script but some of the best 3D I’ve seen in years and beautiful animation makes me give this a like

]]>Outright hated the first half but REALLY liked the second half
]]>Those first two acts are okay, but that last act is what moved it from a 3 to a 3.5

]]>SO much better than the first
]]>Both the same as I remembered and worse than I remembered. The first half is PAINFUL but the second half is as mediocre as I remembered. The script is TERRIBLE jokes wise. The main positive is Jim Carrey obviously having a blast (and even his lines/jokes are bad)
]]>Early birthday movie
]]>You know the parents threw that bell out the next day
]]>The first half I didn’t care for because it DRAGGED. But once chapter 2 hit, it flew by. Starkey is great.

]]>Forget the Dev Patel movie, Kraven is the real Monkey Man
]]>This time I noticed how during a big climactic revelation for the characters, there’s no music. Also, I loved how if the people in the control room couldn’t see it themselves (whether on tv footage or at the studio), it wasn’t actually shown
]]>Was enjoying it until the end hit. What a disappointing ending. Still glad I watched it. Also, Thomas Jane’s hair was distracting. Even in his first role, Tremblay was amazing
]]>While it’s nearly 5 hours, there’s a bunch that they actually didn’t even mention in this doc (that they couldn’t actually do a remake due to MGM owning the rights to the first one, the shot of Chucky coming down the stairs in Curse being CGI and the fan response, their dislike of Heigl, etc) that was discussed in Reign of Chucky but overall still pretty good. Had to watch over a few days due to the length
]]>So bad. Knew within 30 seconds it was bad, Not even Grillo can save it
]]>I need to see this again where I can actually understand the dialogue
]]>Hysterical

]]>Final movie with Emily and Philip before they leave
]]>I’m generally not a fan of Paul Mescal but he’s a beast in this. Denzel of course is amazing. Wasn’t expecting how politically relevant this would be. But what happened to Dondas?
]]>The first half is a slog but man that second half is really good. I laughed so hard at that Saltburn reference
