Bizarre and probably stupid, but I think there's something to the claim that this is a movie made with more intention than it gets credit for. Shyamalan is probably not the guy to pull it off, but kudos for trying and for at the same time creating one of the funniest and weirdest movies out there

1. This movie first posits that shitty indie pop will drive away eldritch terrors, only to then reveal that actually (and more accurately), shitty indie pop is what summons them to our dimension.
