Alright fine, I’ll watch this damn movie. Everyone be raving about it. While I don’t get the hype, it’s definitely overhyped, I really enjoy it as a FBI thriller. Nicolas Cage as Longlegs was a standout but what kept me watching was the performance of Maika Monroe. It’s a solid thriller with some great cinematography, editing and sound design. I do think the film buckles under the weight of its own ideas at times, especially in part three.
