KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! Pocket Game of Life (この素晴らしい世界に祝福を!ポケット人生ゲーム) is a Japanese pocket-size boardgame designed by Hasbro featuring the KonoSuba series. It was produced by Takara Tomy and released on 24 July 2024, bundled with the first Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume of the anime series' third season.
Summary[]
The game basically follows the flow of The Game of Life, in which two to four players spin a roulette either for moving pawn pieces representing Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness along the game board, or determining outcomes as requested by the game squares. Starting out in deep debt and one of them acting as the banker, the players will have to navigate their pieces through game squares reflecting the events of the story from the beginning to right before the third season starts, during which they gain or lose money until everybody reaches the goal, where victory goes to one with the most money.
Gameplay[]
The aim of the game is for players, who all start off holding 40,000 eris worth of debt, to move their pieces across the game board filled with squares that can cause eris to be given or taken, and reach the goal as the one holding the most money in order to win. The pieces are selected by first having the players decide who gets the initial pick in a rock-paper-scissors match, followed by the consecutive players in the clockwise direction choosing their pieces, then the character card corresponding to the selected pieces will be placed with the black side, which notes an amount lower than the coloured side, upwards beside the individual players.
Proceeding to spin the roulette for determining how many steps their pieces need to take, the players follow the instructions written on the squares landed upon:
- Treasure Card Square
Gifts the players landing on the square the treasure card corresponding to what is written, though if the said card is already out of stock, then the player gets nothing. Every card has a monetary value written on them, which upon the player reaching the goal can be added onto the money summation.
The treasure cards consist of High-grade Bubbly, Kotatsu, Skill-Up Potion, Friendship Crystal, Wish-granting Choker, Potion for attracting monsters, Axis Order Rinse, Axis Order Soap, Mass-produced Vanir Doll, Arcan Manju. - Payday Square
Players passing through or stopping on the square perform the instructions written on it, such as receiving the amount of money written on the side of the character card which is currently facing up. - Stop Square
Players must make a stop on these squares even if the roulette spin allows for more steps, and perform the instructions written on it.- Encouragement for This Journeying Adventurer!
As a parting gift to the adventurers heading out for work, any unclaimed treasure cards are turned upside-down, before the players randomly take one of them. Upon the next turn players can pick whether to take the Relaxing Carriage Trip Route or the Unassuming Mountain Footslogging Route. - Goddess' Blessings for This Lost Lamb!
With a chance for a Job Change thanks to the goddess Eris' blessings, the players give the roulette a spin. If the result is a "1" or a "6", then the Job Change is successful and the amount of eris noted on the coloured side of the player's character card is gained, otherwise the players simply gain the amount noted on the character card's black side. - Signpost for This Outworking Adventurer!
Getting a fortune telling from Soketto about the journey's result, the players give the roulette a spin, and can receive 10,000 eris if an odd number comes up. - Great Reversal Chance for This Adventurer!
In face of another Cabbage swarm attacking, the players assist with the harvest by first picking a number from "1" to "6" before spinning the roulette. The harvest succeeds if the selected number results, at which everybody received 10,000 eris. Yet should a different number come up and cause a harvest failure, then the other players sitting on either side of the spinning player will lose 20,000 eris.

- Route Change! Square
Players landing on these squares will either change the proceeding route, or move to the square indicated by an arrow without needing to perform instructions written on the destination square. - Job Change! Square
Allows the players to perform a Job Change through turning their character card to have the colour side facing up, if that was not already the case. - Goal
The square where every player is trying to reach, and can be arrived at even if the steps from the roulette spin number more than needed. Players who get to the goal are rewarded with money that decreases in amount the later their arrival order is, and for every turn until the slowest player reaches the goal, those players who had made it to the goal already can pick a lucky number from "1" to "6", then in the case it shows up upon a roulette spin receive 10,000.
The game ends once all of the players reach the goal. After that each player whose character card had been Job Changed into the colour side facing up received an extra 20,000 eris, the value of the amounts noted upon the treasure cards in possession are added onto the players' money total, while any debt forms in possession each reduces the money amount by 25,000 eris. The resulting final amount of money belonging to each player is then used to determine who ranks higher in the hierarchy of victory.
