Professor[2] Uric Oapley[3] was a wizard who was depicted in a large painting that hung in Gryffindor Tower, at Hogwarts Castle. In his lifeftime, he was Head of Gryffindor House.[2]
In the painting, Oapley was depicted playing a game of Wizard's Chess with Podric Piles, with Tobias Stump standing and watching over the game, and Muldoon Cragg absorbed in reading in the background. Oapley was depicted sitting on a chair, wearing a curly white powdered wig with a black pointy hat, a red coat and matching breeches, white cravat and stockings, and holding a roll of parchment on his left hand with what seemed to be a depiction of the Tree of Jesse.[2]
