Xin Shan (单新) is a supporting character appearing in Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars.
History[]
Background[]
Xin was born in China in 1990, and moved to Liberty City some time before 2009. Xin is the brother of Ling Shan. Xin is also a "Red Pole" (soldier) of the Lee Family Triads. He lived in Cerveza Heights, Dukes until his death in 2009, aged 19.
Events of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars[]
After Huang Lee collects the two Lions of Fo in GTA Chinatown Wars, his missions become downloadable from the Rockstar Social Club.
Working with Huang[]
Xin works with Huang Lee after his partner was killed by few thugs. The two get involved in a massive cop chase, but escaped.
Truth Revealed and Death[]
Later on, Xin was involved in a massive shootout with policemen, but was rescued by Huang, who took him in an alley where he claimed that there was a doctor who can treat him. Xin revealed that there is no doctor, as well telling Huang that he is Ling's brother. Xin blamed Huang for his sister's death and wanted to get him killed for this.
Huang tells to Xin that he couldn't do anything for Ling, and tries to cheer Xin up. Xin says that he is useless, and dies from blood loss, in the same alleyway his sister died.

- Xin shares great similarities to his sister Ling; as both die in the same alleyway, both appear in two missions, both have a mission with a cop chase and also skilled gunmen.
- In the Nintendo DS and iOS versions, Xin has a unique cutscene theme, but in the PlayStation Portable and Android version, his cutscene theme is shared with Wu Lee.
