For other uses of the term Shark, see Shark.
The Shark is a four-door car featured Grand Theft Auto 2.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto 2[]
The Shark is fashioned as a four-door sedan with an apparently 1930/1940s body design, distinguishable by its slender frontal radiator grille that stretches over to the boot lid of the car.
With GRAHAM
as its internal name, the car's name is implied to be inspired by Graham-Paige's 1938-1940 "Sharknose" car, which sported a shark-like front facade design. The actual design of the Shark, however, differs significantly in various respects. It could be related to the Chrysler Airflow without the continental tire and sloped rear end.
Grand Theft Auto III[]
A working name for the Stinger in Grand Theft Auto III is "Shark". The use of the name is evidenced in the "official" website for Capital Autos [1].
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto 2[]
Despite its unassuming appearance, the performance of the car is surprisingly excellent, with a significantly high top speed and good acceleration (with a moderate gearshift delay). The car's steering and braking are also good.
