The Rumbler is a sports car featured in Grand Theft Auto 2.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto 2[]
The Rumbler is a high-performance sports car with a generally rounded body profile with protruding fenders in the front and back, aggressive styling and has white stripes on its paintjob. The car's design is comparable to that of the Banshee in Grand Theft Auto Advance, but is more retro looking. The internal script name is "WBTWIN". but the script name's origins is unknown. The Rumbler doesn't resemble any particular real world car, but is visually closest to the 1997 Dodge Copperhead concept.
Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto 2[]
The car's performance is impressive. While the Rumbler's top speed is only moderately high, the car possesses a good and consistent rate of acceleration that complements this ability well. Due to its lower speed and power, the car steering system is also responsive enough, allowing the player to determine the angle of cornering while the car still remains controllable, and is capable of recovering from a powerslide after a sharp turn; its brakes, especially when applied in high speed, are revealed to be average. All in all, the car manages to balance speed and control very well.
