Enhancements[]
First Person View[]
Available in both GTA V and GTA Online, we've made a host of changes to accommodate this new perspective, including the creation of an optional first person cover system, a new targeting system, a more traditional FPS control scheme, and integrating thousands of new animations into the existing game. It's also available at the touch of a button so you can easily switch back and forth between perspectives.”
Main article: First Person View
First-person view has been expanded upon in the enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V. The game can now be played entirely from first-person, with the addition of depth of field, motion blur, and an Aim Down Sights (ADS) system when firing weapons. Vehicles can be driven from a cockpit perspective with dynamic gauges and enhanced interior textures. Sunglasses and helmets with visors provide a polarizing filtered view. In first-person view, the lens flare effect seen in the game is removed. It can be best noticed when looking at the sun in both first and third-person views. Players also have the ability to switch between this and Third-Person View on-the-fly.
Character Transfer[]
Characters from GTA Online in PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game can be transferred to the enhanced edition. The transfer is a one-time-only copy and the character can continue to be played on both platforms, but progress made after the transfer on the old platform will not be reflected in the new platform and vice versa.
User Interface[]
Several player UI elements have updated looks, such as the Radar and Weapon Wheel.
Snapmatic[]
Snapmatic received several upgrades and new options, such as resolution increasing from 640x360 to 960x536, new filters, options to upload individual photos to Rockstar Games Social Club, and new selfie actions.
