Bollokan (Korean: 볼록한, Bolloghan) is a South Korean car manufacturer that appears in the HD Universe of the Grand Theft Auto series.
Description[]
Bollokan appears to be based on Hyundai, with their sole models, the Prairie and Envisage, being primarily influenced by Hyundai vehicles.
In Korean, "Bollokan" translates to "Convex", which describes the convex shape atop the logo. The company's name is likely a reference to the British term "[to give someone] a bollocking", which is a strong verbal chastisement of someone, and "bollocks", a British slang term for testicles. Supporting this, the logo resembles a pair of hanging testicles.
When the Prairie was first made available for purchase on the Southern San Andreas Super Autos website in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the GTA Online: After Hours, it was given a new description which claimed that the Praire was "the first and only production car". This might have been retconned with the addition of the Envisage; however, the Envisage might technically not be considered due to being based on a concept car, not a production car. Even though the Envisage is for sale and purchaseable in GTA Online, the real-life counterpart remains a concept vehicle.
