Libby's Gift is the tenth episode of the first season of Empty Nest and the tenth episode overall. Directed by Hal Cooper and written by Arnie Kogen, it premiered on NBC-TV on December 17th, 1988.
An organ that Libby ordered before dying finally arrives at the house. Harry becomes determined to learn to play it in time for his and Libby's anniversary, but Carol and Barbara worry that he's going too far. A patient asks Harry for birth control pills, but refuses to get her parents' permission to take them.
This is the final episode of Empty Nest to be released in 1988.

Harry wants to learn to play (How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window?, a popular American novelty song written by Bob Merrill that was first registered on September 25th, 1952 as "The Doggie in the Window". On January 27th, 1953, its sheet music was published in New York as "(How Much Is) That Doggie in the Window".
Harry also references Moonlight Serenade, a popular song by composer Glenn Miller.
