We Will Rock You by Queen is featured in Lights Out, the twentieth episode of Season Four. It is sung by the New Directions with solos from Artie, Blaine, Jake, and Ryder.
When Artie comes up with the idea of performing a broken down acoustic version of a song using just bottles and zips and any other things that are not musical instruments, he and the New Directions pull off the song in the auditorium. The song begins as they all use non-instrumental equipment to assist the song. Once again, lights and torches are used due to the darkness after the power outage at McKinley. Artie, Blaine, Jake, and Ryder lead the song as the New Directions, Will and even the band members help back-up. Together they vocalize as they bang the objects as the song comes to an end.
Lyrics[]
Artie:
Buddy you're a boy make a big noise
Playin' in the street gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on yo' face
You big disgrace
Kickin' your can all over the place
Singin'
Artie with New Directions:
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you
Blaine:
Buddy you're a young man hard man
Shoutin' in the street gonna take on the world some day
Jake:
You got blood on yo' face
You big disgrace
Wavin' your banner all over the place
Artie with New Directions:
We will we will rock you (Artie: Sing it!)
We will we will rock you
Ryder:
Buddy you're an old man poor man
Pleadin' with your eyes gonna make you some peace some day
Artie:
You got mud on your face
Big disgrace
Somebody better put you back into your place (Ryder: Come on!)
Artie with New Directions:
We will we will rock you (Artie: Sing it!)
(Artie: Ooh!)
We will we will rock you
(Artie: Everybody!)
We will we will rock you
(Artie: Mmm...)
We will we will rock you (Artie: Alright!)
