This is the Raiden Shogun's new secret technique. Abandoning the void-like "Musou," she now shoulders a new "Musou" — the dreams and ambitions of all. Just as "shinsetsu," "the truth," also means "the new," so too has Inazuma entered a new chapter.
Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu is Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst.
Gameplay Notes[]
- Raiden Shogun's attacks during her burst stance are considered Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack actions, but with Elemental Burst damage.[1]
- For the reason above, attacks while in burst stance will not trigger the Lightning Discharges of Beidou's Stormbreaker, the Falling Thunder of Electro Traveler's Bellowing Thunder, or the Vacuum Blades of the Skyward Spine. This is because these abilities require Normal or Charged Attack DMG to be dealt. Normal or Charged Attacks that deal DMG as Elemental Burst DMG do not count.
- However, Xingqiu's Guhua Sword: Raincutter and the joint attack by Fischl's Oz at C6 are triggered with each attack. Unlike previously mentioned abilities, these only require a Normal Attack be used, regardless of the type of DMG that is ultimately dealt.
- The talent description falsely states that Raiden Shogun's attacks are "infused." In reality, this talent provides a Conversion to the Raiden Shogun, not an Elemental Infusion.
- The Energy regeneration effect from Musou Isshin will apply regardless of DMG being dealt. For example, hitting Electro Slimes or shielded Abyss Mages will still result in energy production.
- Passive Effects
- Passive Talent 1, Wishes Unnumbered: "When nearby party members gain Elemental Orbs or Particles, Chakra Desiderata gains 2 Resolve stacks. This effect can occur once every 3s."
- Passive Talent 2, Enlightened One: increases the flat energy produced by Musou Isshin for her party members (including herself) by 0.6% per 1% of Raiden's bonus Energy Recharge.
- Constellation Effects
- Constellation Level 1, Ominous Inscription: Increases the Resolve gained for Chakra Desiderata via Elemental Bursts by 80% for Electro characters and 20% for other characters.
- Constellation Level 2, Steelbreaker: The Raiden Shogun's attacks with the Musou no Hitotachi during this talent ignore 60% of opponents' DEF.
- Constellation Level 3, Shinkage Bygones: Increases this talent's level by 3, up to a maximum of 15.
- Constellation Level 4, Pledge of Propriety: Other nearby party members receive a 30% ATK buff after the Musou Isshin state ends.
- Constellation Level 6, Wishbearer: When damage that is considered Elemental Burst DMG from the Raiden Shogun in the Musou Isshin state hits opponents, other nearby party members' Elemental Burst cooldowns are decreased by 1 second. The cooldown decrease can happen up to once per second a maximum of five times during Musou Isshin.
- Damage Calculations
- The burst DMG scaling to the initial slash is calculated as:
- Similarly, the DMG scaling of the infused attacks is

Trivia[]
- In Japanese, it is called 奥義・夢想真説 Ougi - Musou Shinsetsu, roughly meaning "Secret Art: True Teachings of the Dream." Note the Musou here means "dream" and is different from the Musou (Japanese: 無想) in Musou no Hitotachi.
- The individual characters of Musou Isshin (Japanese: 夢想一心) roughly mean "Dream One Heart."
- Chakra Desiderata roughly means "Circle of Desires," combining the Sanskrit word चक्र cakrá, "wheel/circle" and the Latin word desiderata "things of desire."
- While wearing her default outfit, Narukami's Law, when Secret Art: Musou Shinsetsu is ready, the three objects on her outfit with the Electro symbol on them will glow the way other characters' non-Vision gems glow along with their Visions. The three objects are her left pauldron, the ornament on her waist at the front, and the fan-like ornament on her waist at the back.
- When switching to the Raiden Shogun when her Elemental Burst is ready, the projected elemental symbol that is typically seen over other characters' Visions is not seen anywhere while wearing her default outfit, Narukami's Law.
- This is the first Elemental Burst to cost 90 Energy, the highest energy cost in the game so far. The only other Elemental Burst that also costs this much is Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin.
- The Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst and Yae Miko's Elemental Burst are the only Elemental Bursts with the same energy cost (90) to have different cooldowns (18 seconds and 22 seconds, respectively).
- Similarly, this is the only Elemental Burst with a cooldown of 18 seconds that has an energy cost of 90 instead of 70.
