Etymology[]
- Like the other Six Darshans, the name "Amurta" (Chinese: 阿弥利多)[4] is derived from a Zoroastrian deity. Amurta is likely named after Ameretat (Amurdad in Middle Persian), a goddess of immortality and plant life.
