"I am the Fortune Preserver, the Maiden of Resurrection."
— Qiqi does not remember these words.

Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune is Qiqi's Elemental Burst.

Gameplay Notes[]

  • Healing from this talent can only occur once every second.
  • Healing will occur as long as the attack hits regardless if the attack is blocked or does not deal any damage.
  • Healing can only affect the active character and requires them to hit the enemy themselves.
  • Hits landed by off-field characters will not trigger any healing effects.
  • The talisman is applied before the damage is dealt. Therefore, Qiqi will receive healing if the burst hits.
  • The duration of the Talisman can be extended by hitlag. (The duration is slightly extended when the affected targets in melee are attacked.)

Voice-Overs[]

Trivia[]

  • The Chinese version of the sentence spoken in the talent description, 「真名,救苦度厄真君,起死回骸童子。」, has some noteworthy differences from the English version:
    • Due to the way the Chinese language works, the speaker and the subject are left ambiguous; while the English translation makes it a sentence Fortune Preserver (implied to be Qiqi) says about herself, it is possible that the sentence was spoken by someone else to Qiqi.
    • 救苦度厄真君 Jiùkǔ Dù'è Zhēnjūn, "The Perfected Lord who Aids the Anguished by Averting Misfortune" follows the naming convention of the Mighty and Illuminated Adepti.
    • 真名 Zhēnmíng, "Perfected name, true name" is not used in the English translation of the talent description, but it is used in the talent's corresponding voice-over, "Sacred Name: Fortune Preserver." This indicates that Fortune Preserver is an adeptus name that was bestowed upon Qiqi.
    • 起死回骸童子 Qǐsǐhuíhái Tóngzǐ, while officially translated as "Maiden of Resurrection," could alternatively be read as "Resurrected Child."
      • In some Buddhist and Daoist contexts, 童子 Tóngzǐ refers to those from the celestial realm who have incarnated in the mortal world as children for one of several possible reasons.
