Tatsuhisa Suzuki (鈴木 達央 Suzuki Tatsuhisa) is a Japanese singer and voice actor from Okazaki, Aichi, Japan, though he was born in Ichikawa, Chiba, Japan. He is affiliated with I'm Enterprise and Lantis. He is a graduate from Japan Narration and Acting School. He was also the vocalist for OLDCODEX prior to their disbandment.
On August 4, 2021, Suzuki announced that he would be taking an indefinite hiatus from all acting and singing activities due to health concerns. In response, KyoAni postponed the release of OLDCODEX's theme CD for Free!–the Final Stroke–, but assured fans that Suzuki will not be replaced as the voice of Makoto for the movie/s, as he had been replaced (voluntarily) in roles for several other series.
Following the announcement of his hiatus, an infamous tabloid magazine speculated that Suzuki had participated in an extramarital affair. While Suzuki did not address this rumor, nor others concerning his hiatus, he eventually acknowledged the tabloid article and on August 30, 2021, released a handwritten letter apologizing for his actions and carelessness.[1]
