It is not uncommon for seiyuu to sing opening or closing theme songs for an anime in which they voice a character. The Free! series, however, saw the five seiyuu who voice the major characters of the series come together to form a vocal quintet. Some members also concurrently perform as professional singers outside of voice acting.
