Steel and America is an educational short released on May 5, 1965. It was produced for the American Iron and Steel Institute and released on 16mm. In 1974, it was remade and retitled Steel and America: A New Look.
Synopsis[]
Donald Duck follows the manufacture of steel from ore to finished product.
Plot[]
Trade association film promoting the steel industry. Combining animation and live action, "Steel and America" traces the history of the industry and follows the manufacturing process from iron ore to finished product. Donald Duck appears as a steelworker.
