Utilizing transportation contributes to protecting nature, and as a result it will enhance the quality of life. Through this experience, we can learn more about environmentally friendly, which leads to sustainable development. Secondly, improving safety is one of the critical factors. In fact, it is said that Japan is falling behind other countries in technological innovations aimed at enhancing safety. However, it is possible that environmental improvement will make our lives more comfortable provided that the government puts more financial resources into supporting such initiatives. Given the reasons mentioned above, there is no doubt that people who live in cities ought to be required to use public transportation.
