Captain Underpants is the superhero born from George and Harold's homemade comic books, who then accidentally (but a little on purpose) became real in the form of Benjamin Krupp when they hypnotized the ill-tempered principal. He soon after gains superpowers by drinking alien juice.

The franchise mainly focuses on the adventures Captain Underpants, George, and Harold get into. There are books written by Dav Pilkey and white screen appearances in the form of an animated movie and the DreamWorks Animation The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants series that premiered on Netflix on July 13, 2018. The show had its fourth season released on July 10, 2020.

Captain Underpants in Space

While the first three seasons of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants kept their feet somewhat firmly planted on the ground, the series' latest season lifts all their explosive rowdiness and adventures into space!

The space agency P.O.O.P.S.I.E. holds a contest to send "one lucky school" on a trip to the space station. Naturally it is George and Harold's school that gets selected and launched off the planet, and that with barely any trickery or hardline conniving to convince Principal Krupp to opt in on the space-related plans.
