Thomas Abinanti (Democratic Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 92. He assumed office in 2011. He left office on January 1, 2023.
Abinanti (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 92. He lost in the Democratic primary on June 25, 2024.
Biography
Abinanti earned his B.A. from Fordham College and his J.D. from New York University School of Law. His professional experience includes working as an attorney, as an adjunct professor at Mercy College (Dobbs Ferry), as a teacher at Pace Law School (White Plains) and served as Legislative Counsel to a member of Congress and staff counsel to the New York State Assembly.[1][2]
Abinanti served two terms as the Greenburg Town Councilman and was elected ten times to the Westchester County Legislature.[2] Abinanti served as a New York state representative for the 92nd district from 2011-2023.
