I am an AF veteran of 9 years and an employee of the DOI/bureau of Land management for 15 years. I worked in schools as a paraprofessional in special education for 11 years. I have lived in Taiwan, Turkey, Spain, & Germany, as well as Alaska, Texas, New Mexico, Montana, & Florida. Living in many places brings a lot of diversity to my life. It brings great insight into how life can be better.

  • Women should have all rights to their bodies & everyone should have universal health care.
  • Schools should have project based education and should be fun. Happy students & teachers will bring about greatness to our younger generation that will make our country a better place for all..
  • We need more mental health care and rehibilation instead of jail time. These social cares will make wyoming a great place to live.

Quality of life in all aspects. We are the "equality state" so we need to assure that all laws back up that policy. Freedom of choice of who we are is a great start. We need to get rid of our "right to work" state status. This is really bad for workers. We need a lot of change in our thinking. We keep trying the same stuff over & over which is the definition of insanity. There are things to improve our economy like tourism, outdoor recreation, & lots of historical sites to visit. I want our younger generations to be more involved in our state's government. We need students on our school boards. They are really smart & should be helping us choose the best for our schools. Kids need recess & PE & music & art & dance & fun activities. This will give them a passion for learning. Also, we need project-based education.

The desire to run for governor and make our state the best it can be.

One of change for the better.

Colin Powell's 16 leadership quotes.
Leaders eat last by Simon Sinek.
they are both great books for being a leader or what to look for in a leader.

I'm still standing! It's by Elton John. It's a great song to start every day.

My mental health. I never felt wanted or a viable part of anything until I was in the military. I didn't feel like I was listened to or that my ideas had value.

Better yet, things my kids said about signs. There are lots of them out there & some of them are pretty funny.
From my daughter. She saw a sign that said, "Loose stock on road." She asked me if it meant that they were cows without morals.
From my son. They used to call engine brakes, Jake Brakes." The sign said jake brakes prohibited. My son wanted to know "who is Jake Brakes and why does nobody like him?

Campaign website

Livingston's campaign website stated the following:

Why I am Running

I wish more people would run not just for governor but for the legislature, county & city positions. Women of Wyoming need to step up for themselves, their children, & grandchildren. Younger people must get involved in your state, from the governor to the city council or school boards. I am running because someone had to stand up for women’s rights. Also, for the younger generations as we need them to make Wyoming a better place. Democracy is not a spectator sport.

Top 3 Priorities

Equality. I know everyone thinks it should be our economy, which would be third on the list. Women need all their rights. We need to believe in them and that they will make decisions that are good for Wyoming. Wyoming doesn’t have the resources for unplanned offspring. Next is health care. We need medicare expansion. A healthy Wyoming will lead to a strong workforce. It will also help hospitals and clinics get the required money so we don’t have to watch maternity wards close down. Mental health care is also essential to help slow down the high rate of suicide in our state. After we have equality & medicare expansion, we can work on ways to increase income. We have rare earth minerals, we have intelligent people, and we can brainstorm great ways to have happy, healthy workers that will add the dollars needed. Next, we need to listen to the younger generation. They have great ideas. They leave the state because they don’t believe that we listen to them. Or they leave because they fear for their safety with their lifestyle choices. If we want them to stay, we need to listen to their ideas & love them for who they are.[2]
