Biography
Hazlewood's professional experience includes working as Assistant Vice-President for Legislative and External Affairs for BellSouth and AT&T, as director of CapitalMark Bank and Trust, and as Regional Director for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.[1]

Elections for 99 seats in the Tennessee House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 7, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 3, 2014. Eric McRoy was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Patsy Hazlewood defeated Tommy Crangle and Charlie White in the Republican primary. White withdrew, but still appeared on the ballot. Tom McCullough (R) was removed from the ballot before the primary. Hazelwood defeated McRoy in the general election.[6][7][8]
