General: She defeated C. Stephen Benvenutti in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 66.4 percent of the vote. [1]

Schloegel won the seat in the general election for the Mississippi Chancery Court, receiving 51% of the vote.[2][3]

Education

In 1988, Schloegel earned a B.A. in philosophy and English (with a minor in history) from Louisiana State University. She went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1991.[4]

Career

Prior to joining the bench in 2010, Schloegel practiced law for 19 years, specializing in business law, estate planning, wills and probate matters. She was most recently a member of the law firm of Page, Mannino, Peresich & McDermott.[5]
