  • Public Safety - I am committed to safe homes, neighborhoods, and schools. Those that protect us deserve the best equipment, good benefits, and a fair wages. I will always support our first responders. If you have to be your own first responder, I will always defend your 2nd Amendment rights..
  • Economic Development/Jobs - I am a committed capitalist. Government has a responsibility to provide roads, schools, sewers, and other infrastructure where businesses can thrive to provide economic opportunity for our citizens. I know that more people realize the American Dream from Main Street than Wall Street. I will always work to help small business owners be competitive in the market place.
  • Public Education - The best schools are the ones where parents are engaged in their children's education. Parents need numerous choices in public education for their family.

Drug overdoses in our community. 70,000 Tennesseans are addicted to opioids and heroin. There is not a family in our state that has not been effected by this epidemic. I want to work with others towards common sense solutions that are based on positive outcomes for the betterment of Tennessee families.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Tennessee

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
