|A proud father, husband, small business owner, and leader in the Jewish community.
- We need to clean up the mess in Nashville.
- The current super majority does not represent the opinion of the average Tennessean. I want to be a moderating voice in Nashville that the citizens of my district and state deserve.
- It is crucial to work in a bipartisan manner to solve the issues that directly effect the lives of my constituents.
I am an extremely hard worker who can handle multiple tasks at the same time without loosing focus. Most importantly, I am running so that other people's voices are represented.
More than anything, an elected official should be responsive to the citizens of their district. When it comes to legislation that can affect local issues, I strongly believe that a state legislator should seek feedback and partnership with other locally elected officials such as school boards, city councils, and county commissions.
The greatest challenge facing Tennessee is sustainable growth. Within our larger metro-areas, we need to balance economic growth with social needs and infrastructure investment in a sustainable way. In our rural communities we need to ensure that they have access to the infrastructure, like broadband internet, that is necessary for supporting high paying, stable jobs.
Enshrining early voting as a constitutional right.
Financial transparency and government accountability are critical to upholding the democratic process. Complete transparency helps uncover wasteful government spending and fraud.
I believe that a state ballot initiative process could help highlight the true landscape of Tennessee voters.
