Timberlake's campaign website listed the following priorities:
“ |
Decisions are being made every day on the local, county, state and federal level that directly impacts our lives. When Dr. Kwame Akonor taught me that the definition of politics is deciding who gets what, where, when and how---I knew I wanted to be at that table to fight for the people who work hard every day, but still struggle to provide for their families These are the people who want access to good schools, safe neighborhoods, beautiful parks, great transportation and opportunity. I am a part of the community I’m trying to serve and understand their needs. That is why I’m running. Freeholders are to the county as the city council is to the municipality. They are a legislative body on the county level responsible for the setting policy and controlling the spending of county funds amongst other things such as parks, public safety, traffic, beautification, transportation, economic development, county college and vocational schools, and more. As Freeholder, I will work hard every day to ensure taxpayer money is used to benefit the people, community, and the nonprofits helping the people.[3] |

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
