Slimv is a SWANK client for Vim, similarly to SLIME for Emacs. SWANK is a TCP server for Emacs, which runs a Common Lisp, Clojure or Scheme REPL and provides a socket interface for evaluating, compiling, debugging, profiling lisp code. The SWANK server is embedded in Slimv, but you can also use your own SWANK installation. Slimv opens the lisp REPL (Read-Eval-Print Loop) inside a Vim buffer. Lisp

Straight to the point: since mid September I've been using Emacs, trying to evaluate whether I was willing to switch from Vim to it. Yup, that's true, me (user of Vim since the day I've started using GNU/Linux 10 years ago, (not so) active maintainer in Debian of vim and related packages, author of some popular Vim extensions and of vim-addon-manager) it's considering switching to Emacs. Stay tuned.... More clojure stuff coming soon
For the next couple of blog posts, Iâve decided to describe some of the software we use (and have developed) at Sonian. We have a few Clojure repos pushed to github that have documentation that is poor-to-none. I wanted to start with our main communication tool these days: our IRC server, Subrosa. We originally were using Skype to communicate, but finally got fed-up with stability and usability, w
