Bell Street Burritos opens in Tucker
The Tucker location of Bell Street Burritos is now open, according to an Eater reader who attended the restaurant’s “soft opening” last Friday and owner Matt Hinton. Bell Street’s latest location occupies the former El Tapatio Mexican restaurant space on Lawrenceville Highway. The restaurant’s hours are Monday - Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. A grand opening celebration with giveaways could take place on Saturday, August 10. Bell Street has two other locations in Buckhead on Peachtree Street and at Stove Works in the Old Fourth Ward. The original Sweet Auburn Curb Market location closed after nine years last month. Arizona-based Cajun seafood chain Angry Crab Shack expands to Atlanta
Arizona-based Cajun seafood chain Angry Crab Shack is expanding to Atlanta. Greg Brown and Dena Brown, who own an assisted living facility in Flowery Branch, Georgia, just inked a franchise deal to operate at least three locations in metro Atlanta. Ten are expected to open over the next five years, according to a restaurant representative. The first Angry Crab should open by the end of the year. The Browns are close to signing a lease on the first location in either Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Buford, or Suwanee. Angry Crab, founded by Ron Lou in 2013, has nine locations throughout Arizona and specializes in seafood boils. [Official]
Prime 120 steak and seafood opens this fall in Woodstock
A new surf and turf restaurant called Prime 120 opens on Chambers Street in downtown Woodstock later this fall. According to a press release, Prime 120’s “unique twist on the traditional steakhouse” includes using Italian wood-fire ovens to prepare its steaks and seafood. In addition to the dining room, Prime 120 features a 30-seat private dining room and a patio with a fireplace. [Official]
