1) Marietta: Now open in Marietta is Brunswick's, an "upscale bowling alley and entertainment center" with full-service restaurant Tavern '45. The restaurant serves menu items like Vietnamese pork belly tacos, arugula and goat cheese salad, and Thai red curry chicken pizza and has a full bar with local craft beer offerings.
A second location will open in Norcross in late July. Status: Certified Open: 2749 Delk Road, Marietta; (770)988-8813. Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
2) Switcheroos: New signage is going up at Abundant Grounds Cafe in Kennesaw. The coffee shop replaced Cuppy's Coffee earlier this year. Status: Certified Open: 1600 Kennesaw Due West Road, Kennesaw; (678) 354-6155. Open Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
3) Cumming: In Vickery Village, OVR Coffee Cafe is now open. The coffee shop brews Intelligentsia coffee, makes juices and smoothies to order, and sells a variety of vegan baked goods. Status: Certified Open: 5755 Clarion Street, Cumming; (678) 771-8230. Open Wednesday and Thursday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
