The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle

I see a red door and I want it painted black.
No colours anymore, I want them to turn black.
It's not easy facin' up when your whole world is black.
I wanna see the sun blotted out from the sky.

"The Hound Of The Baskervilles (Hyena)" - Postcard

© All Rights Reserved

The Hound of The Baskervilles is one of my favorite Sherlock Holmes stories. I made two similar pieces for this, with the only difference being my choice of hound. The black one was more true to the story description, but the hyena (in this one) was more ferocious looking.

I created this using GIMP 2.10.24.

This is 2 of 2 posts of photographs that I took at the River Road Bridge in Weston, CT this past week.

I heard a dog barking, and glimpsed what I thought was a dog in the distance. When I noticed this dog wasn't moving, I realized it was a statue.

Dog In Car Driver Seat - Photograph

I took these photographs in the local Connecticut area this past week.

This dog caught my eye, because it looked like he/she was sitting in the driver's seat of this vehicle, ready to use the steering wheel to go for a drive somewhere. The vehicle was parked and the dog was observing the nearby activity. But I must have been in his/her peripheral vision, because then he/she turned to look at me looking at him/her (with my camera). The dog's owner was actually seated in the vehicle, too, but from my initial angle, that wasn't apparent (but I assumed it had to be the case).

This is 3 of 6 posts of photographs that I took in the Ash Creek Open Space walking area in Fairfield, CT this past week.

These are some of the sights here. Someone brought their dog to play chase. Winter has been unusually mild, so there is still some green in the grass in spots. Most of the boats have been pulled from the water, but a few remain. I didn't take photos of it, but they cut down a bunch of trees for some unknown reason. I always saw birds going into those trees.
