This week's smiles....week 389

Another week has been filled with many more reasons to smile.

Our little Peggy has been learning to walk on a lead wearing her new harness....She loves to explore.

We have enjoyed special times with our son, Mark, and the two boys...they were all here for a sleep over at the weekend and this was daddy reading them a bedtime story ....they really love their daddy so much.

Lexi had some new photos taken while she was performing on the main stage at the NEC in Birmingham.  She was dancing with a new group of dancers that she had only met the weekend before to learn a new dance routine.

She was one of the youngest and smallest performing and the group of girls were amazing....such proud moments.

Of course I also have some funnies to share with you...I hope you all find something here to make you smile.
Please leave me a little message and then link up to your own smiles below.

WOYWW....

Here we are at another catch up with our creative friends from all around the world who link up at Sarah's Craft Shed each week.....why not join in the fun?

I've had a quiet week with sewing, as often happens in the school's half term holiday, so I have enjoyed a bit of creative play making a few Christmas cards and have enjoyed quality time with our new little fur baby.

Here she is sitting on the gorgeous new blanket sent to her by our blogging friend Lynn Holland.  It came through the post, gift wrapped with Peggy's name on it.

Lynn bought one for Milly when we first had her too.  Thank you so much Lynn, you are so very kind and thoughtful and Peggy is well and truly spoilt.

Here's a few of my cards, they still need a bit of tweaking yet but I was well glittered at this point :-)

I can proudly share this photo of Sam with the cushion he made at school....what a talented young man he is.

His teachers were so impressed that he was chosen to represent his school in The Young Textile Design Competition organised by Shrewsbury Drapers.

That's all from me for this week.  I hope to be able to visit all who call by here to see what you've all been up to this week.

Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 388

What a week it's been here at Sewing by Annie's.  I've had a lot of sewing and there has been so much to smile about so here goes...

The twins have had a professional photo shoot to go in their profiles and what gorgeous photos they are too...here's just a few to share.

Our little fur baby has been meeting lots of the younger members of the family and, as you can see, they all love her to bits.  She has settled in so well.

This her best friend by far.  We have Maisie, our son's dog staying with us at the moment and they have become really good friends [although taking a photo of them sitting together sure was a challenge :-)
They love playing together and often do zoomies around the garden.

I've managed to snap a few autumn colours from our garden for you this week...there is lots of colour at the moment but the leaves/flowers are dropping fast so it wont last.

I seem to have found many funnies to share with you today so please enjoy a giggle on me.  I hope you will all leave me a comment and then link up to your own smiles below.
Have a great week.
Hugs,

WOYWW....

It's been a busy week and my little assistant has settled in very well...she needs lots of naps but knows where she's loved.  When I'm in my sewing room she likes to cuddle up here....

I've had lots of orders for Memory characters...

This is the first order for a cat and dog that I've had for a long while and I really enjoyed the challenge.
....they are made to remember a much loved Nan and I've used her favourite scarves around their necks.

These two bears are made for a new customer and she loves them so much that she plans to come back for more soon.

These latest Memory characters bring my numbers up to 858 in total :-)

I've even had a little time for some creative play...I thought it might be an idea for making my Christmas cards....It's got to dry completely before I can know for sure.

That's all from me for today.  If you leave me a little message I will do my best to pay you a return visit when I can.

Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 387

I've had lots to smile about this week.  We went away for the weekend as a last trip out in the caravan for this year.  The main purpose was to pay a visit to the lady who we had Milly from over 8 years ago because we knew she had a litter of puppies due to go to their new homes at the begining of December.  When we got there she said she had two pups from an older litter and there was a little boy and a little girl at 12 weeks old who were ready to go to their new homes now.....who was going to say no to that?  So meet our new little puppy....Peggy.

She's a wheaten/brindle cairn terrier and is just such a cutie.  She is already doing very well with the potty training on newspaper and has settled in very well....not a single wimper on her first night too.

This means we have now had 5 cairn terriers...they say once you've had one you will always have one and they are right.

From the top left are

Wispa and her brother Rocky and our first, and lightest in colour, Skye.

Bottom left is of course Milly and Peggy our new fur baby.

They are all different in colour and character.

Of course I have also found a few funnies to share with you....not so many this week because the internet was very poor on our campsite.

Hugs,

WOYWW.....

It's certainly been a different sort of week for me.....I've taken on new staff :-) Oh and also it's my birthday today :-) :-)

We had the weekend away in the caravan to visit the breeder that we bought Milly from because we knew  she had a litter of pups due to go to their new homes in December.  When we got there she had two pups that were 12 weeks old and ready now...one little girl and one little boy....so meet Peggy.

She is simply adorable...it was almost as if it was meant to happen :-) :-) :-)

There just might be more photos on Friday.

I have had time to make this Memory cushion for a customer in memory of her dad......the pocket on the front is to put her phone or the remote control in.

The dog breeder had recently lost her grandfather so she gave me one of his shirts to make a Memory bear from....it's now winging its way to Doncaster.....I hope it brings her a lot of comfort.

That's all I have to share with you this week.  I have a feeling my day today is going to be a busy one because I have 5 customers coming [it's always the way when I've had a few days away] and of course there is the new member of staff to train up :-)

I will do my best to call by to say hello but it may take a little longer today so please be patient.

Hugs,

This week's smiles....week 386

Here we are at catching up with the positives from the week...sometimes we have to look a little harder to find some but there is always something to make us smile.

This little man always makes us smile....he loves playing with the toy house and is a little super star at his foolball club...he loves it.

Lexi took part in the CYD Super Convention in Liverpool on Sunday....she is the smallest and one of the youngest in the group of dancers but she really held her own....some of the girls are much older than her.   It's so lovely seeing her going from strength to strength with her dancing...and really loving it.

Top right the girls are with their very proud dance teacher...she has taught them all from the start.

Of course there are also some funnies to make you smile...they certainly did me.
Hope you are all having a good week and have lots to smile about.
Hugs,
Annie x

WOYWW...

Hello all.  Hope you've had a good week.  I've been keeping busy here...I find it's that best way when I'm struggling to get through difficult times.

I made another kneeler  from the wadding from a Hello Fresh box...this time it's for my son, Mark.  I hate to see these things thrown out and it makes a fab kneeler.

I made a pretty length of bunting for a friend who is expecting a new Granddaughter any time soon...she chose the fabrics.

I've made lots more Christmas tree decorations and they are being fast chosen by my Grandchildren...I will probably make more to replace them and will then give them to the charity I support.

That's all from me for this week.  I will do my best to pay you a return visit if you leave me a little message.
Hugs,
Annie x
